"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." — Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV)

Notice the trade: your understanding for His direction. Leaning on your own understanding feels safe because it's yours — but it's a cane that snaps under real weight. Trusting the Lord with all your heart means bringing Him the decision you already made without Him, the fear you keep rehearsing, the outcome you keep trying to control. He doesn't promise to show you the whole map. He promises to make the path straight as you walk it with Him. One acknowledged step at a time.
