"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." — Genesis 1:27 (ESV)

Your worth was settled before you did a single thing to earn it: you were made in the image of God. But the image is marred — we feel it every day in our own hearts. That's why being made in God's image was never the finish line; it's the reason the Son of God took on flesh. In Christ, the image is being restored — not by trying harder, but by being born again. You are not who your worst impulses say you are. In Jesus, you are who your Maker is remaking you to be.
